Lakeside Surf

One of the most exciting attractions near the Midtowner is Lakeside Surf, located at Slidewaters Water Park just above the lake. Home to the world’s largest stationary wave, Lakeside Surf lets you experience the thrill of surfing right here in Chelan!

The wave operates like a river surf—stationary but fast-flowing—allowing riders to carve back and forth across the surface. Lessons and equipment rentals are available for all skill levels, or you can simply relax and watch the action for free. It’s one of Chelan’s most unique and energizing summer activities, perfect for families, friends, and adventure seekers.

We offer discounts for Lakeside surfers! Check out our specials page for current offers!
